Permanent Impairment Comparitive Report

Permanent Impairment Comparative Analysis Report

Ever wondered how two permanent impairment reports on the same patient can end up being finalised with different percentages?

At The Impairment Specialists, we pride ourselves on being able to analyse both reports by providing  an informative report explaining the AMA methodology used, and the reasons why the two calculations have ended up with differing final percentages. Erroneous ratings can result from lack of impairment analysis skills, inaccuracies in the clinical findings or incorrect methodology.

Our permanent impairment comparison process can give you the information and rationale to help in a mediation setting.

Complex Injury Case Reviews

Complex and Multi Injury Case Reviews

Complex medico-legal reports are in-depth expert assessments for cases where the patient has severe or multiple injuries. This can lead to significant treatment and care needs often impacting on the patient’s activities of daily living, personal relationships and vocation. Complex case reviews need to be undertaken by the appropriate specialists, and may include multi-specialty assessments to provide a thorough understanding of the catastrophic injuries and or extensive surgery and rehabilitation needs of the patient.

These reviews are very comprehensive and provide an assessment including a functional analysis of the patient, extensive review of the medical case file, help with the direction of further treatment and prognosis opinions which are fundamental in the management of the claim.

In the cases where the patient has reached Maximal Medical Improvement, a complex Permanent impairment assessment is undertaken to help facilitate claim closure.
